If I were to define myself it would be as an engineer with a passion for painting. My formal training as a chemical engineer required a study of science and mathematics. As a painter I am self taught. These two disciplines may seem to be at odds with each other, but in truth the creative problem-solving required of an engineer by necessity combines art and science.

To date I have spent most of my life living in New Jersey. I have a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the University of Delaware and a master’s degree from Rutgers, the State University. After a long career in research and development for the petrochemical, paper, and personal care industries, I am now retired. My artwork has received extensive recognition throughout the New Jersey metropolitan area and has found its way into numerous private collections throughout the United States.
